A brilliant combination of Black Honey Costa Rica and Thailand Doi Pangkhon from a single farmer lot. Exhibiting a sweet-toned aroma of zesty orange, toasted cashew and cherry.
The Costa Rican is Black Honey from the Las Lajas micro-mill that skillfully and organically processes cherries from La Calle Farm in the Central Valley of Costa Rica. We blended it with outstanding coffee from the Doi Pangkhon Village in Thailand’s stunning Chiang Rai mountainous growing area where our farmer is at the forefront of the specialty coffee movement there.
This combination of two incredible micro lots balance each other out with natural elegance. A whipped cream-mousse-like mouth feel with outstanding depth and juicy feel from the Costa Rican, softened and balanced by the Thai apple-like acidity exhibiting a delicious fruity complexity. The chocolate-mousse elements turn into caramel notes and the fruit starts from a juicy pink cherry and morphs towards a zesty orange, - both surrounded by a strong cedar note. An amazing blend!
