Our Peru single-origin is a particular bean that has an excellent sugary sweet, prominent tart acidity, and a smooth mouthfeel—giving a brilliant performance on the palate lots of chocolate and caramelized sugar with green grape, lime, wildflower honey.

This lot comes from a not well-known area of Peru, in the northwest, not far from the capital. It was here in 2016 that the dynamic Rony Lavan decided to energize the gourmet, high-end production of coffee and established APROAGRO LIMCOF. As president of the young APROAGRO LIMCOF association and Coffees exporting organization, Rony Lavan has already established himself as a leader in micro-lot quality coffees in Cajamarca.

His first year with Limcof, he entered the national competition and won; with the introduction of the Cup of Excellence competition to Peru in 2017, the country poised to enter the international spotlight for its finest offerings. Rony and his coffees will be the ones to watch.

Limcof Coffees are certified Fairtrade, organic and have their Rainforest Alliance certification as well.
